Does Hemp Tea get people high? NO.

Does Hemp Tea contain any THC? YES and NO. How is that for an answer to what seems like a relatively straight forward yes or no question??

The industrial hemp plant comes in many varieties and strains but all are in the same family as the cannabis plant and some are exactly the same except that they have had the THC (the chemical in cannabis that gets people high) bred out of them.

By law, HEMP PLANTS, at maturity cannot contain above .3% THC in any part of the plant.  While the leaves that hemp tea is made from contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids, each of those cannabinoids exists in the leaves but in much smaller amounts.  The leaves used to make our hemp tea never contain anywhere near the .3% threshold.

Is .3% THC a lot?  Numbers don’t have value unless there is a comparison.  If you don’t know the percentages of THC in cannabis strains then .3% may not mean a lot.  Currently most, not all, but most cannabis sold commercially has about 18%-25% or higher.  With that as the perspective, the amount of THC in hemp tea is insignificant.

So while there is trace amounts of THC delta 9 and/or THCa in hemp tea the concentration is so low that it will not get you high no matter how much you drink.

You do get a full-spectrum cannabinoid profile from Hemp Tea.  Cannabinoids include: CBD, CBG and CBN

THE HEMP TEA COMPANY makes absolutely NO HEALTH CLAIMS about CBD.  We believe our hemp tea is a fantastic addition to a healthy diet, but we make no claims.  Medical Claims should only come from your health care provider.  Medical Claims can only be made when substantiated by the FDA.  Here is what the FDA says about hemp and CBD.
